I feel that it is only fair at this stage before we get started to tell you a little about myself so you can judge my credibility to share this discussion with you.

Today I am the average Australian housewife 57 years of age, married with three children and five grandchildren. In the past I have been a single mother of three, a successful small business owner and have lived in both the country and the city.

Like many of you I have had to deal with inflationary pressures on a limited budget, mortgages, insurances, and all the other mundane things that make up our everyday lives. To be perfectly honest I do not recall a time in my life where I have had not had to live on some sort of budget and these days due to a forced early retirement more so than ever.

My children aged between the ages of 34 and 39 also married with families of their own, serve to keep me well up to date with what is happening in the present day to young families.

To stay in touch with the younger generations I have had to learn a lot about computers and other modern technology and this knowledge I will share with you over the coming months.
